☕ not much of an opinion but recently I've started to think that lungs look like upside down butterflies if you squint. And well that made think how in greek mythology, butterflies were seen as souls. If the breath the soul are one and the same, and lungs look like upside butterflies, then that's kinda cool symbolically. Thoughts?

  • butterflies were seen as souls in greek mythology? :o that’s so mad. maybe that’s where the idea that if you lose someone and then see a butterfly, its them hovering around, comes from. anyway, the implications of this drive me crazy. if i could draw i would really do something with the whole concept. but nothing much to add cuz i just want to sit with it in silence. if the breath is the soul and the lungs are a butterfly and the butterfly represents the soul……..no wonder ppl who have witnessed someone dying say it’s like on big final exhale
